Before buying a digital recorder, do your research. A few weeks ago, I bought Sony's ICD-P210 digital recorder. I needed something quick and easy to record the "Wendy Kurtz and Wayne Kelly 30 Days to Radio Success" classes. The size and weight of the P210 (and the fact that it was under $100) sold me. Unfortunately, the software that comes with the Sony P210 does not have the capability to convert the digital files (.dvf) to .mp3 format, so I've had to do a lot of research to figure out how to do this. A solution may be on the horizon and if it works, I'll post the step-by-step process. posted by Wendy Kurtz on July 5, 2005 04:22 PM

Hi, Wendy - I recently purchased a great little program for my laptop that allows me to record studio-quality sound and it saves it in most any format. I think I paid $49 for it... Chris Posted by: Chris Gent on August 3, 2005 07:50 AM
came across this post via google, so highly likely you already found a fix. but, the old program CDex v1.50 works fine for converting .wavs->.mp3's. I've an ICD-P210. The software it comes with will convert to .wav, so then just use CDex for the rest. Hope that helps. Posted by: eric kristoff on January 22, 2006 02:39 AM
